THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.

.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT

HAZARDOUS WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

A COUPLE OF WEAK DISTURBANCES WILL PASS OVER THE NORTHERN HALF OF
THE STATE FROM THURSDAY THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY MORNING…POSSIBLY
PRODUCING SOME LIGHT PRECIPITATION. SHOULD PRECIPITATION
OCCUR…IT WILL LIKELY BE IN THE FORM OF LIGHT SNOW. ONLY A
DUSTING TO PERHAPS A TENTH OF AN INCH ACCUMULATION IS FORECAST SO
IMPACTS SHOULD BE MINIMAL IF AT ALL.

A STRONGER SYSTEM WILL MOVE OVERHEAD SOMETIME FRIDAY AFTERNOON OR
LATE FRIDAY NIGHT. PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO BE MORE WIDESPREAD
WITH THIS DISTURBANCE…AND WILL AFFECT MUCH OF CENTRAL AND
SOUTHERN ARKANSAS. ADDITIONALLY IT WILL ALSO FALL INTO AIR COLD
ENOUGH TO SUPPORT SNOW. THERE REMAINS A HIGH DEGREE OF UNCERTAINTY
AS TO THE PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS AND EXACT AREAS AFFECTED THOUGH.
AS SUCH…FORECAST PRECIPITATION AND SNOW AMOUNTS WILL REMAIN ON
THE LOW SIDE FOR NOW…GENERALLY A TENTH OF AN INCH OR LESS.

IT DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE A SIGNIFICANT WINTER WEATHER EVENT…BUT
UNCERTAINTY IS HIGH ENOUGH TO RECOMMEND INDIVIDUALS CHECKING THE
LATEST FORECASTS FOR ANY CHANGES THAT MAY BE MADE IN THE COMING
DAYS.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED.
